To run the 5K event at te Chicago Half Marathon
September 13, 2009
I will modify my diet by incorporating more fish, fruits and vegetables. I have hired a personal trainer, whom I will workout with a minimum of twice a week outside of my independent 3-5 days weekly in the gym. I will maintain a wellness journal of everything I am doing for my emotional, physical and mental health. Also, reaching a target weight under 150lbs will also be the proof in the pudding!
work in an urban high school where demands are always high and my work schedule is a killer. Sometimes I am at work 12-14 hours per day, including weekends, and I REALLY don't feel like cooking when I leave work. By the time I make it home I want to go to bed or lay on the couch. Keys for me will be meal planning and keeping health stuff in my office (I have a refrigerator by my desk)to eat when I am working round the clock.
