$25 buys independence! Each trekker gives $25 to support this movement. We rely on the support of each trekker to fund all core programs.
$50 buys a trek leader starter kit. In 2011, we hope to give starter kits to new women who commit to changing their communities by starting a walking team. This welcome kit will include coaching tips, team prizes & trek leader T-shirt.
$100 buys a set of team jerseys for a Trek Team. These motivational shirts, are a colorful way to distinguish the team in public settings, and are a source of pride for the girls. We award a set of jerseys to a hardworking teams! Go Team GirlTrek!
$250 buys a GirlTrek camera Volunteer regional photographers visit different teams throughout their region to capture the spirit of GirlTrek. Your donation will allow us to lend a high quality camera to each photographer!
$500 gives a scholarship to a girl who demonstrate leadership potential to attend FreedomTrek. At this annual summit she and a cohort of girls from her community will become GirlTrek Ambassadors by planning and leading a health-related service project.
$1000 produces a GirlTrek film! Our documentaries - real stories of Black girls and women trying to improve their health - have been HUGELY successful. We have volunteer filmmakers help with the production. Your donation will pay for supplies, professional editting and distribution to schools and churches.
