This Self-Care September, we on a #stressprotest because we are being gunned down in the streets, dropping dead on the job and pulling ourselves and family members through the darkest of times. This is spiritual warfare and sisters, if you don't find and hold onto your own light - that deep and unwavering sense of freedom and worth - our community will never rise above the pain and destruction that systems of oppression have waged against our people. 

Each of us will start tiny little rebellions against stress so that we can re-train our minds and hearts on goodness, wholeness, and light.  Here are your steps for Self-Care September:


The single, most-powerful thing you can do to relieve stress is to schedule "Me-Time". 

First act of rebellion, reclaim 30 minutes on your calendar RIGHT NOW for personal healing and deep reflection.  Book a daily 30-minute appointment with yourself to take a walk, and don't let anything or anyone get in the way of your appointment:
