East Fairmount Park is ready with our walk into the Spring season starting May 7th in the Strawberry Mansion neighborhood at Mander Playground (33rd & Diamond Sts) on Tuesdays at 6pm for 1 hour. Open to everyone, we walk as a team and support each other in the quest for improved health and community spirit. Parking is plentiful and access a breeze. The walk is on the street (Not the wooded area) so no special preparation needs. Just wear something comfortable and come out. East Fairmount will also host a weekly Friday walk (starting May 3rd) at 6pm and will meet at Lloyd Hall (Sedgley and Kelly Drives). We meet near the bike rental on Boathouse Row. As with Mander, we are on the sidewalk. This walk has several very nice views. Please join us. All you'll need is walking shoes and water. As a team we all help do the rest.
