Celebration in the Oaks Run/Walk
Join us for GirlTrek's end-of-season trekking by participating in NOLA's favorite holiday fun run/walk; and this year, let's make it a FAMILY AFFAIR.....bring your kids and significant other with you for this 2-mile walk!!!! The walk begins in the late afternoon, and it gives you the chance to participate in a festive holiday event that takes participants through New Orleans City Park during their annual Celebration in the Oaks Light Display, when the park is decorated with over 500,000 lights! The day is filled with hot cocoa, pictures with Santa, a holiday costume contest, and much more! e one of the fitst 25 to register on this site and for the race to receive a free festive hat to wear during the walk!
