Pedestrian Advocacy Workshop & Trek
Pedestrian Advocacy Workshop & Trek
As a trekker, you get firsthand experience with the walking conditions in your community. You may notice places that need improvements to make it safer and more pleasant to walk, but may not be sure how or who to engage to advocate for change. Join us to learn how to be a change agent for pedestrian safety improvements in your neighborhood. We’ll also gear up for the darker months of the year by discussing personal safety while walking and how to keep walking all year round! This will be the first of two FREE identical workshops. The second workshop will be October 12, 2019 at the Auburn Avenue Research Library in Downtown Atlanta. Feel free to attend either session!
