Ladies! I love this community built on sisterhood. Celebrate with me, capping off week 3 with a trek to Jeni’s! Morgan & Vanessa asked us to SMILE this week, so we’ll flash our pearly-whites and wave to every passerby as we donn our superhero blue! The halfway mark is Jeni’s Splendid Ice Creams; who also serves delicious non-dairy ice cream. Might I suggest the Texas Sheet Cake (non-dairy) flavor? The trek path is completely paved sidewalk and street walking stretching from the Optimist Park & Villa Heights Neighborhoods to North Davidson. One side of the route (along Davidson street) is mostly flat. However, the walk through Villa Heights is extremely hilly and will require pacing. The total route is just over 2 miles. You’ll need appropriate, closed-toe athletic shoes, about 24 or more ounces of water, and a hat to protect you from the sun. Most people bring a backpack/sac to carry their water, shades, cellphone, keys, and other items like a snack. We'll meet in the parking lot inside of Cordelia Park. Just look for the melanin and superhero blue! **Rain Plan: meet inside of the building at 2424 North Davidson Street for some dancing.**
