GirlTrekDenver “Get Around” Brother Jeff’s Culture Center
This #SuperHeroSaturday trek will meet at the Brother Jeff’s Cultural Center 11:00am for an hour trek of Five Points including the Black History Museum. We will return to the Cultural Center before 12:30 and join in the EastsideForever Community Event.
Be a part of the #EastsideForever story!! Put your handprints on the wall (above is the mock-up only)! Support and celebrate Thunderbolts taking office! Listen to poetry paying homage to the Eastside! Support Black Dollar Saturday!
Come together for the very first community kickoff event as a part of our #EastsideForever campaign. We will be revealing our #EastsideForever mural, partnering with Bro. Jeff's Black Dollar Saturday, the Glenarm Rec Center, Manual HS students, and the local artists that are breathing life into this campaign.
As we are working to create policies that stabilize our neighborhoods we have to make it a habit to come together, to celebrate, to protect each other by supporting each other, and by having a good time. There will be food, music, games, etc. Can't wait to see you there, fam.
Funded and supported by Denver Parks and Recreation and Denver Arts & Venues #IMAGINE2020
