Let's March to Fight For Affordable Housing
Let's March to Fight For Affordable Housing
If you believe that everyone deserves a safe, decent, affordable place to live, join the March through Central City for affordable housing! Calling all Trekkers to come out for this important issue that affects us all - renters and homeowners alike. You can join the March, at any point along the route, after your SuperHero Saturday walk or the CCC Fall Classic. We all know that without safe, decent, and affordable housing, the services and policies intended to boost the quality of life for residents will fall short, especially for our marginalized and most vulnerable populations. Furthermore, we can no longer allow for our native New Orleanians and culture bearers to be pushed out of their long-time neighborhoods or forced to live far away from where they work. Let's sprinkle in SuperHero Blue throughout the march and show the city, our elected officials, and residents that we support the Greater New Orleans Housing Alliance's efforts to #PutHousingFirst. The march starts at 10:30am at Tapps II Restaurant (2800 Rocheblave) and ends by 1pm at A.L. Davis Park (2600 LaSalle), with a rally &  DJ Brice Nice.
