Tour the Historic Whitney Plantation for Free
For the Whitney's 5th anniversary, they are offering free admission for this one day. The Whitney Plantation Museum is the only plantation in Louisiana that focuses on lives of the enslaved and gives a full and unvarnished truth. You will find yourself on hallowed ground, walking paths trod by our ancestors. The guided tour is a don't-miss experience. Feel free to go with your family, or comment if you're interested in going as a group.
