On August 20, 1619, our forebears arrived in Jamestown, VA from West Africa, which marked the beginning of chattel slavery in the English colonies (now the United States of America). Please join us to pay homage to them. We will have a moment of silence before we walk the 4-mile Multipurpose Trail at Blacklick Woods Metro Park at 7:00 p.m. on August 20, 2019.
