Fall Foliage Trek to Gibbs Garden
Join me for a walking tour through beautiful serene Gibbs Gardens for their annual Japanese Maples ColorFest.
From Oct. 28 thru the month of November over 3000 Japanese Maples (200 varieties) will come alive in a brilliant, colorful kaleidoscope of reds, golds, burgundies and yellows.
Gibbs Gardens is a GA gem with several vibrant gardens, tranquil reflecting ponds and calming waterfalls. We can wander the many walking paths and see, reflect and meditate while soaking up the beauty, peace and serenity of the gardens.
This is an easy approximate 1.5 mile walk along paved paths that are appropriate for attendees of all ages and abilities. Dogs are not allowed in the gardens.
Gibbs Gardens is located north of Atlanta in Ball Ground, GA. The address is:

We will meet in the visitor center and purchase our tickets upon arrival. Tickets for entry into the gardens are:
Adults (18 to 64 years old): $20 per person Seniors (65+): $18 per person Children (ages 3-17): $10 per child (Children 2 and under are free.)

What you'll need: comfortable layers and walking shoes, adequate water for hydration, and snacks/lunch/your camera.
There is a cafe and outdoor eating area as well so for those with time to linger a bit so let's plan to share lunch and fellowship afterwards.
