OC Sole Sistahs Quail Hill Walk
Join us as we take a 2 mile walk along rolling hills at a moderate pace. No one will be left behind. We will stretch beforehand to get the blood flow going to reduce injury. This is a medium trek that will take approximately 45 minutes. There are moderate hills and one advanced hill that will take about 12 minutes of uphill walking. This is NOT a flat hike 😁. The trail is gravel and may have occasional runners.
Gear Needed: All you need is a hat, water, and comfortable shoes and if you need trekking poles. Feel free to bring cameras to capture some stunning views.
Facilities: There is water and a restroom at the trail head.

THE PRESERVE: This trail is part of the City of Irvine Open Space Preserve, boasting 5,200 acres representing a number of different ecosystems. This preserve includes our Quail Hill Trail, Shady and Bommer Canyons, and Turtle Ridge. Though some parts of the preserve have restricted access, our trail is open to the public every day.
Exit the 405 Freeway at Sand Canyon and head south. Go straight through the roundabout, go past the Fire Station on the right, then take the next right into the parking lot. This is a smaller lot and there is additional parking across the street if this parking lot is full. There's plenty of parking at that time of day and there is no cost to park.
