Walk in Your Truth Like Harriet (Tubman) - Live History Event
On Nov. 2nd thousands of women across the country will walk to honor Harriet Tubman. Enjoy the babbling brooks and a smooth Wissahickon Valley Park path as we walk beside Harriet Tubman re-enactor, Rosalyn Seabrook. Her living history presentation will remind us that when we walk in our truth, as Ms. Tubman stated, "We can change the world." Let's hit the trail together to celebrate this giant of a woman, our bright 'North Star.' Stroller and kid-friendly event. Please wear your GirlTrek gear or royal blue if you don't have gear. Logistics: Meeting Point: The address is used as a reference point and will lead you to the Sunoco that's across the street from the entrance. DO NOT PARK AT THE SUNOCO! We will be starting at the Rittenhouse entrance. We will meet at the small park on Rittenhouse between Wissahickon and Lincoln Drive.
