This portion of the Cobbs Creek Parkway Trail is located in South West Philadelphia on Cobbs Creek Parkway. This trail truly has been my haven that I got to for clarity and my strongest connection to nature. You can expect to see lots of birds, butterflies, trees, and some squirrels. We will meet at the intersection of Cobbs Creek Parkway and Springfield Avenue which is across from Davita Dialysis Center. Please be careful when crossing the street as there is usually a moderate amount of traffic. In order to best enjoy this walk bring a bottle or two of water, bug repellent may be helpful since we will be near lots of trees and a river during a portion of the walk that is little secluded, and also your cellphone so that you can track your walk and put it on the girl trek website! The walk is approximately 2 miles to and fro and I expect us to be out there for about 35-40 minutes. I expect us to have a great time. I look forward to meeting you all.
