SupersHERo Mrs. Thelma Gibson (92 years wise) is a powerhouse in education, community health & wellness, social justice, volunteerism and leadership. During the month of August, we are celebrating her tremendous legacy by beginning our trek at the park named for her husband, The late Rev. Theodore Gibson (raised in our beautiful Historic Overtown), a pioneer of Miami's civil rights movement, and home of the awesome Overtown Optimist Club!
