On this day in 1972, Our Powerful SuperHERo the Congresswoman (and proud Delta) Shirley Chisolm announced her run for president! So in celebration of her powerful legacy, we are lacing up our comfortable walking shoes and trekking with the fabulous ladies of Broward County Alumnae chapter of Delta Sigma Theta sorority, Inc. for the fifth annual race for HEALTH.   Please wear your beautiful SuperHERo blue shirt and meet our fabulous and fearless leader Ms. Carol at the park.
