Dear Ms. Jiner:
The Center for African American Health invites GirlTrek to support and participate in the annual Destination Health event on July 27, 2019 from 8am-1pm. This year, the event is FREE for all attendees and has transitioned to a Family Fest at City Park designed to bring people of ALL ages together for fun-filled healthy activities and entertainment.
As a supporter, we welcome your participation in providing an activity in the Movement Zone. Each Zone is designed to provide activities and information that will engage families, especially young children and teens, from across the Metro area. In addition to Movement, we will also have a Kids Zone, Food Zone and a Learning Zone.
As a new Family Resource Center, the Center for African American Health continues to be dedicated to improving the health and well-being of infants, seniors, and everyone in between by providing culturally sensitive health education and promotion programs. The Family Fest is designed to be intergenerational – connecting our community through educational, fun activities to learn, play and network together.
We encourage you to mark your calendar and join us for our kickoff meeting on Tuesday, June 11th from 1130-1pm at the Center - 3601 Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. Denver, CO 80205. Lunch will be served and an Evite will be sent.
We appreciate your support and look forward to having you join us as we empower the community to Live Well!
All the best,
Communications and Outreach Strategist
