Superhero Saturday: A Girltrek Tradition In a revolutionary act of self care, black women & girls all over the country gather on Saturdays to celebrate ourselves and participate in a transformative Girltrek Tradition--SuperHero Saturday. After a full week of working, toiling, & caring for others - - we women of "super power" lace up our walking shoes, put on our Girltrek Superhero bright blue gear, and join forces to be about the business of "Self Care". In Cincinnati, Superhero Sisters meet every Saturday morning in various neighborhoods. The Northtrek Zone Queens will meet every Saturday 8 a.m. at Glenwood Gardens walking trails. There are 3 trials each loop is about 1 mile. We will meet at Woodlawn fushia bowl / McDonalds parking lot @ 8am . We will proceed to walk over to the trails @8:15am Wear your superhero blue or girltrek gear, bring water, and a friend.
