Come celebrate the memory of our sister MARGARET LLOYD (July 27, 1966 - April 28, 2018) in a moving tribute on her birthday. FIRST 10 to arrive at Case Building Indego docking station get a bike to ride. GPS ADDRESS is 4600 Parkside Ave (Belmont & Parkside). PHILA STARS NEGRO LEAGUE BASEBALL MURAL ON CORNER. Look for the BLUE BIKES across the street. Riders will scoop & loop walkers to Belmont Mansion (2 miles round trip) for the URBAN VEG SUMMER FEST. Our bike ambassadors Lee & Robin will assist with the ride. Bike/walk back at approximately 3 pm. STREET PARKING: Lots of space on Concourse Dr. alongside CASE BLDG, admin office for Fairmount Park, just over from Belmont & Parkside. ADMISSION to the fest is $10. $5 if you wear your GirlTrek shirt. There will be lots of FREE SAMPLES. Margaret loved community service/events & museums. We’ll honor her spirit with pouring libations & prayer before we start. Travel size toiletries for Youth Emergency Services (YES) are welcome in Margaret’s memory also.
