💦Let's Go Ch8singWaterfalls💦 Chapter 26 💦
💦💦 PLEASE NOTE THE ADDRESS IS NOT THE SAME AS THE LAST TIME WE CH8SED THIS LOCATION 💦💦 Let's meet at the Parks parking lot, at 575 Riverside Road at 7:30 for the talk before the walk, with a 8:00 start to our hike. 💦Ladies, this is a hiking pole, hiking stick, hiking shoes / hiking sandals kind of trail. Pleas layer appropriately, and pack extra hydration and snacks. There are hills, and some slight elevation, but no worries, no woman left behind, and we will have plenty of rest breaks along the way, which some of us call selfie spots.💦 Pack your patience, your support, motivation, your positive vibes, and join us for a morning of fun and adventure, as we write the 26th chapter of ch8sing waterfalls.💦 💦A covered bridge. Civil war mill ruins. A towering waterfall that pours from a historic spillway dam. There’s just a lot to love about the Vickery Creek Trail at Roswell Mill: it’s scenic, shady, and makes a great in-town hike or moderate trail run. This five-mile adventure explores the historic Roswell Mill and the surrounding rolling forest in Roswell, Georgia. 💦It’s one of the best hikes in the Chattahoochee River National Recreation Area parks near Atlanta, though its trails don’t follow the actual banks of the Chattahoochee River. 💦Instead, this hike explores the historic remains of Roswell Mill and visits the mill’s spillway dam waterfall on a Chattahoochee River tributary. 💦The 5+ mile trail network hikes through beautiful, rolling forest and catches views of the rushing dam waterfall from a steep rock bluff. 💦It’s one of our favorite trails in metro Atlanta: its rolling trails make for a great trail run, Roswell Mill’s historic mill ruins are a must-see for Southern history buffs, and the park’s wooden covered bridge and spillway waterfall are fully photo-worthy.💦

    Hey Y’all 🙋🏾‍♀️ & Heyyyy Fall🙋🏾‍♀️

The forecast says Roswell will be 60° in the morning.

Bring out the layers, but don’t over do it. Keep in mind, your body will heat up as we hike.

Because I tend to sweat a lot, as a rule of thumb, I typically bring an extra shirt and/or jacket to change into afterwards.

There’s nothing more uncomfortable than being wet, and freezing cold, trying to enjoy lunch with ya sistas. So bring an “after” shirt or jacket, to leave in your car, as back up.

Rhonda & I were in for a treat, and I think you will be as well. We had a great, adventurous, exploratory morning. We earned our #GirlTrekGlow, and sweat out our edges. You’ve been warned. ☺️
