This is a newly formed group. Nothing is set in stone. All input welcomed as we work to coordinate a group in the Olney area. I would love for this to be a cross generational group so feel free to bring mom, daughter, cousin, sister, girlfriends, neighbors along with. Looking to start with a 2 mile walk - there are ywo directions we could head. 1. Towards Olney Plaza - including a walk or two around the plaza and back, could yield 2-2.5 miles. 2. Up towards Cheltenham Ave, head towards Broad and back. Both are through residential areas. Our first walking group will be Tuesday, June 4 @ 7 pm. We can start with a 30 min walk and increase if needed or desired. We can meet at the corner of 5th and Spencer Ave. Parking is available on the street. We plan to begin our walk no later than 7:10 pm, so please be on time. I hope to see you there. Don't forget your water.. Please be sure to complete the Girl Trek Waiver.
