Join our monthly walk in special recognition of Domestic Violence Month. We are walking for all survivors of domestic violence on Saturday, October 26, 2019. If you plan on joining the walk, please wear something purple and meet us at Avalon Village at 9am. If you don't have something purple, please come out, we'll have purple ribbons, too. We walk about 3-4 miles along Woodward Avenue. Please dress appropriately for the weather. Check the weather and dress in layers and wear hat, scarf and gloves, if needed. Bring toiletries to donate to a shelter, if you can. The walk will only be cancelled if there is lightning and thunder. If it is raining, bring an umbrella.
