She did it for her people - Now let's do it for Harriet! Let's celebrate her and the release of the new movie about her, "Harriet," one the trails at our local park. We will be uniting with Outdoor Afro Cleveland, Black Girls Hike Global, Trails R Us, and Journey On Yonder to celebrate our Shero Harriet Tubman! We will take to the trails to honor and celebrate an American Shero (and an original Badass) on the trails at Euclid Creek Reservation! Let's hit the trails with our intentions set to honor Harriet and her legendary travels and what she stood for in risking her life to shepherd our enslaved ancestors to freedom. Please meet us at 9:45 AM in the parking lot near the Highland Road entrance (near the basketball courts) to meet and greet. We will take off promptly at 10:00 AM. The terrain will be on paved and unpaved surfaces, with some hills & possible water crossings. Wear your #GirlTrek Blues or "Blue and please dress in layers for the weather; Wear shoes with a good tread and wool socks to keep your feet dry and cozy; Bring water to stay hydrated and a light snack to keep your energy levels up.
