The Full Moon in July is the Buck Moon, named after the new antlers that emerge from buck's foreheads around this time of the year. It is also called Thunder Moon, Hay Moon, and Wort Moon. Bucks are male deer. Meet me at 7:45 PM in the parking lot of Strawberry Picnic Area which located off Buttermilk Falls Parkway in Willoughby Hills 44094. ****When you enter the park on Sunset Lane make a left turn at the stop sign (you will see the direction sign when you make your stop), drive around on Buttermilk Falls Parkway until you see the sign for the picnic area on the left-hand side of the road**** We hike for approx 3miles at an easy/moderate pace. The terrain is mostly flat with slightly rolling hills, natural surface (may be muddy). Don't forget to wear your #GirlTrek gear or Blue shirt; wear comfortable and/or waterproof hiking/trail shoes are HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. Bring water to stay hydrated & bug spray.
