Sistahs On The Move Juneteenth Freedom Trek
Join us as we will be trekking to celebrate Juneteenth. This day is also known as Juneteenth. Independence Day or Freedom Day is an American holiday that commemorates the June 19, 1865, announcement of the abolition of slavery in the U.S. state of Texas, and more generally the emancipation of enslaved African Americans throughout the former Confederate States of America.
We will meet at 7:00 PM at kiosks station of Acacia Reservation 26899 Cedar Rd. Lyndhurst, Ohio 44122 which is located across from Beachwood Place. We will start promptly at 7:15 PM for one hour of fellowship and fun to refresh our mind, body, and soul. Invite your sister-friend to join us it's not too late for them to take the pledge at www.girltrek.org. 💛🧡💙
Don't forget to wear your #GirlTrek gear or Blue shirt. Please bring a bottle of water to stay hydrated, wear sunscreen to protect your skin from the UV rays & bug spray to keep our little pesty friends away 😉
Please RSVP if you plan to attend so you don't get left behind. You can call or text me at (440) 478-6531 if you have any questions 🤔
