Hike to beautiful Paradise Falls and Lizard Rock!
With an elevation gain of 570 feet this beautiful 4.35 mile trail leads to a waterfall called Paradise Falls and Lizard Rock overlook. This is a loop trail which circles the canyon and leads back into the main parking lot. The hike will take approximately two and a half hours to complete with a fifteen minute break. There are zero park fees associated with this route. There will be some steep inclines and possible exposure to poison oak along the path.
Up to 12 women can participate in this hike. Prior hiking experience encouraged, but not required.
The path will be mainly exposed so sunscreen is essential. Sturdy hiking shoes with good ankle support will be required in order to participate. Please also bring two sources of water, any essential medication, and a light lunch with snacks.
Two leaders will be identified for this hike - one lead and one sweep to ensure no woman is left behind.
