To celebrate National Take a Hike Day, join the Mississippi Adventure Squad for a mental escape at the Ridgeland Trails in Madison County, MS. Meet up and parking are at the specified location. Arrive at 2:30 PM for gear check, warm up, and route instructions. The hike will begin promptly at 3:00 PM. Hiking boots or trail shoes are required. The 4-mile calming hike circles around a beautiful forest and includes several inclines, so please bring two sources of hydration and a small snack. In addition to the GirlTrek waiver, The Tri County Mountain Bike Association requires participants to pay a usage fee of $3 and sign a waiver at https://www.tricountymtb.org/join.
