As a trekker, you will walk with us as we celebrate the life of Harriet Tubman and learn about the renowned South-View Cemetery and the legacies of several historic icons who've been laid to rest at Georgia's oldest African-American cemetery. You will learn how these icons directly impacted the Atlanta that we know today and be mindful on how we might continue in our #Onward intentional journey to continue their legacies. Following the tour, VisitBlackHistory.com & GirlTrek will be going to view the film "Harriet" at AMC North DeKalb 16 (located in North DeKalb Mall). We will gather together to take in the film and think about how Harriet's story has not only kept but propelled us and how we will continue to move forward using her blueprint.
