The Rappahannock River Heritage Trail is a 3.2 mile easy, flat paved terrain that runs along some beautiful rushing water sounds of the Rappahannock River and winds itself around part of historic downtown Fredericksburg. Our early morning walk will allow us to take in the breathtaking sight of a sunrise as we groove to the sounds of nature (birds etc.). Dress in layers, comfortable walking shoes, any medications as needed, and water to stay hydrated. We will meet up in the Rappahannock River Heritage Trail parking lot on the corner of Normandy Avenue and Fall Hill Avenue. Look for Sisters wearing Superhero Blue attire! From Stafford: Take I-95 or US-1 south towards Fredericksburg; Take exit 133A to merge onto US-17 Warrenton road towards Falmouth; Turn right onto US-1 south/US-17 BUS S/Cambridge Street; Take Woodford Street to Normandy Ave; Turn right onto Hanson Ave, Turn left onto Woodford street; Continue onto Normandy Avenue to the corner of Fall Hill and Normandy Avenue
