When Black women walk, things change

When personal health becomes collective power.

You’ve built the habit. You’ve found your crew. Now comes the part where GirlTREK members take everything they’ve built — the discipline, the relationships, the sisterhood — and turn it outward. SOLVE is where the walk becomes a movement and the movement becomes change.

GirlTREK Equips You to Lead

Taking on your community's challenges takes more than good intentions — it takes skills. That's why GirlTREK provides members with advocacy and organizer training to equip you with the tools to lead real, lasting change where you live.

Through our training programs, members learn the fundamentals of community organizing, how to identify and address local issues, and how to connect their crew's work to a larger national movement for health justice.

The 10-Point Plan for Joy and Justice

GirlTREK's SOLVE work is guided by our 10-Point Plan for Joy and Justice — a member-driven advocacy agenda built around the issues most impacting the health, safety, and wellbeing of Black women and girls across America. It connects what your crew is doing locally to a national movement that is pushing for systemic change.
